DATA ANALYSIS USING SPSS BY D.N. SANSANWAL

Researches are being conducted in different subjects. During research qualitative and quantitative data are collected. The collected data have to be analysed for arriving at the finding. Quantitative data are analysed with the help of statistical techniques. It can be analysed manually as well as with the help of software. Different available software are: Excel, SPSS, Stata, SAS, R, MATLAB, JMP, Python, etc. Majority of researchers use SPSS for analyzing the data. There are researchers who find it difficult to use SPSS. To facilitate the use of SPSS, “Data Analysis Using SPSS” manual has been developed. It is written in simple language and explains step by step use of SPSS. It has been tried out on large number of researchers all over India. Hope researchers as well as teachers from different fields will find it useful in analyzing the quantitative data and the quality of quantitative research may be improved.
